I want to build a truly seamless remote-desktop experience that runs silently on Windows, macOS and Linux. The session must feel as if the remote screen is part of the local workspace—no visible frame or boundary—and the host component must stay hidden (no task-bar or dock icon) while remaining fully functional in the background. Core feature set: • Secure authentication based on user ID / password. The architecture should be ready for future 2FA or SSO extensions, and every connection needs end-to-end encryption. • Unattended access so I can reach machines without someone on the other side. • High-performance screen sharing with very low latency. • Integrated chat during a session. • Bi-directional file transfer. • Optional session recording. Deliverables I expect: 1. Installer or build packages for Windows, macOS and Linux (or a web gateway that delivers identical capability). 2. A lightweight host that starts with the OS, registers with a central server, and never shows a tray, dock or task-bar presence. 3. A client module with the UI for connecting, chatting, transferring files and reviewing recorded sessions. 4. Complete source code and build instructions. Acceptance criteria: • Connects across the three target platforms, sustains a stable connection for at least 8 hours in testing, and keeps average latency below 100 ms on a 50 Mbps link. • All data, including chat and file transfers, travels over an encrypted channel. • Host remains invisible in both the task-bar and the system tray/dock while running. • Successful file transfer of a 2 GB test file without corruption.
