I’d like an experienced knitter to turn my vision for a small run of modern-cut cropped angora short-sleeved sweater into reality, working exclusively with soft angora rabbit hair yarn. The overall aesthetic is clean and contemporary, so please avoid anything overly ornate; I picture a simple stockinette fabric that lets the luxurious fiber speak for itself. The knitted would need to source the pink angora yarn. Key to success will be the quality of the angora fiber. I would want a knitter I can work with to adjust the styles as we go. I have used factories to make my designs in the past, but I want to create a line of high-quality angora sweaters in limited amounts, which factories don't do very well. The attached images show the first design I have in mind. For the purpose of getting this started, this project would be to have one of these sweaters made. Deliverables • One finished angora sweater as pictured. (exact quantity to be agreed after yarn estimate) washed, blocked and ready to wear • Digital copy of the final pattern with any notes on gauge, needle sizes and row counts • Progress photos at key stages so I can sign off fit and colour before final seaming Timing is flexible within reason, but please outline how many hours you typically need per cardigan and your current queue. If this first batch goes smoothly, I’m keen to establish an ongoing collaboration for future knitwear designs.
