I already run a large, feature-heavy dashboard that exposes a well-documented REST API. Rather than navigating that full interface every day, I need a lightweight single-page web dashboard that shows just 5-6 data groups pulled from the same API: • Sales / revenue metrics • Inventory / stock status Here’s what I have in mind: – The page should call the existing endpoints, parse the JSON they return and surface the key figures in a clean, responsive layout. – Simple data visualisation (tables plus a couple of concise charts) is welcome, but keep the page fast and uncluttered. – Date-range or basic filter controls will help me drill down quickly, yet the overall feel must remain minimal. – I’ll supply endpoint URLs, authentication details and an exact list of fields once we start; no scraping or guessing is required. Deliverables 1. Source code for the single-page dashboard (React, Vue, plain JS or similar—choose what you’re comfortable with). 2. Clear environment / build instructions so I can deploy on a standard Linux server or drop into Netlify/Vercel. 3. Brief README explaining where to plug in API keys and how to adjust any constants (e.g., polling interval). Acceptance criteria: When I enter my credentials and run the build, the page must load, fetch live sales and inventory data in real time, and update gracefully without reloading. If you enjoy crafting tidy UIs and working with REST APIs, this should be a quick, focused project. I look forward to seeing what you can do.
