I’m looking for a clean, easy-to-use Excel file that will serve as a central place to track my inventory. The core of the template must focus on stock tracking, with a dedicated column that keeps an accurate “Quantity in Stock” for every item I enter. Here’s what I have in mind: • A single workbook, already formatted, where I can add or remove products without breaking formulas. • Built-in formulas or a simple macro that continually updates totals whenever quantities change. • Clear headings, light conditional formatting for low-stock visual cues, and filters so I can quickly sort or search items. • Space to expand later—while “Quantity in Stock” is the only mandatory field today, I’d like the sheet designed so I can add Product IDs, locations, or reorder alerts down the line without a complete re-build. Deliverable: an unlocked .xlsx file that works in the current version of Microsoft Excel and requires no add-ins. A brief note inside the first tab (or a separate read-me) explaining any formulas or named ranges will be perfect so I can hand it to my team with zero confusion.
