I’m setting up a clear, easy-to-maintain Excel file dedicated to inventory management. The sheet needs to hold three core data blocks—product names and descriptions, current stock levels, and supplier information—while staying simple enough for me to update manually. Here’s what I have in mind: a clean dashboard-style front page that shows total SKUs, low-stock alerts, and quick filters, backed by structured tables where I can add or edit items without breaking formulas. Built-in data-validation lists, conditional-formatting warnings, and a few helpful pivot-table summaries will keep everything organised and instantly readable. Deliverable • An unlocked .xlsx template with the layouts, formulas, and formatting fully tested. • Brief instructions inside the file (or a short PDF) so I can expand columns or add categories myself later. Acceptance criteria • All three data areas flow into summary metrics with no broken references. • No macros or external connections—everything must function through standard Excel formulas.
