I need a senior-level Shopify App developer who can take a brand-new idea from whiteboard to a fully deployed, production-ready app inside the Shopify ecosystem. The app will live exclusively in the admin area and be used by store owners, so every screen must follow Polaris guidelines and integrate cleanly through App Bridge. Multilingual support is not required. Scope of work You will design the architecture, set up the repo with Shopify CLI, and code the back-end in either Node.js or Laravel—whichever you work fastest in—while exposing all data through Shopify Admin API calls (GraphQL or REST as appropriate). OAuth authentication, secure webhook handling, and settings management need to be wired up from the start, with a clean UI for merchants to configure the app. Testing & deployment Unit and integration tests should cover the critical paths, and I expect you to spin up a Partner test store for staging. Once everything passes, you’ll package the app, walk it through Shopify’s review requirements, and push the live build so merchants can install it without friction. Deliverables • Complete source code in a private Git repository • Production-ready app deployed in my Partner account • Documented setup instructions, API schema, and webhook specs • Test suite with clear pass/fail output • Post-launch support window to fix any unexpected issues If you have a portfolio of merchant-facing apps that already leverage Admin API, App Bridge, Polaris, and webhooks, share a link so I can see real-world examples.
