Descripción de la oferta

I have several digital energy meters on-site and need an automated way to capture their cumulative kWh reading once every 24 hours, then write that figure into a database with the date-time stamp. Here is what I have in mind: • Data capture – a script or small application that polls each meter at the same time every day, pulls the total kWh value, and resets or stores any required registers without disturbing normal operation. • Storage – the reading should be inserted into a database table (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite are all acceptable; choose the engine you feel is most appropriate and note any advantages). • Scheduling – the task must run reliably every 24 h, either through a built-in scheduler, cron, or a lightweight Windows service. • Resilience – if a read fails, the job should retry gracefully and log the error so I can trace issues later. • Handover – provide the source code, a simple database schema, and a step-by-step setup guide so I can redeploy or extend the solution as more meters come online. Please build the solution in the language and toolchain you are most comfortable with (Python with pymodbus, Node.js with SerialPort, or similar are all fine) as long as the final setup remains lightweight and easy to maintain. Once delivered, I will test it on my meters for a full week; acceptance is complete when each day’s reading appears in the database without gaps or duplicates.
