I need an on-site technician in Dallas who can complete three linked tasks inside our production data centre: 1. Pull and neatly dress both fibre and UTP runs between two racks in the same room (under-floor tray available, ladder-rack overhead). All strands must be terminated, labelled and tested end-to-end before hand-off. 2. Power down and remove several servers from the same cabinet, ensuring drives are pulled for secure hand-over to my team. 3. Rack a couple replacement servers, bring them online, confirm link lights and provide photos of the final install plus the test results for every new cable. You will need to supply basic hand tools, a fibre cleaver/termination kit, RJ-45 crimpers and a simple light-source or OTDR for test screenshots. I’ll arrange remote access to our KVM so we can verify the new hardware boots correctly while you’re still on site. You might also be required to source the fibre and UTP cables Please confirm your earliest availability, the make/model of your test gear, and any past data-centre experience you have in similar fibre + UTP installs.
