Looking for a Python developer with strong data analysis skills to work with daily market price data from two different providers and turn it into one clean, reliable dataset with useful insights. The feeds don't fully agree — differences in how splits, dividends, and currencies are handled, plus the usual gaps and bad values — so the work involves aligning and reconciling the two sources, cleaning the data into a consistent shape, and analyzing patterns in prices, returns, and volume. The goal is a clean dataset plus a short report an analyst could rely on. Comfort with preparing messy real-world data is important, and familiarity with financial/market data (adjusted vs. unadjusted prices, corporate actions, FX) is a strong plus. A small optional AI/LLM component may be used for summarizing or categorizing results. Scope is roughly a half-day. No need for scraping. Full details shared in chat.
