Descripción de la oferta

I need an experienced power-electronics engineer who can devote substantial hours to take a new DC-DC converter from concept to a proven, working prototype. The converter must hit three simultaneous targets: very high efficiency, a compact footprint, and a competitive BOM cost. Also generate PWM which has current control 0.1mA to 20mA range. The work starts with topology selection and full electrical design, moves into schematic capture and PCB layout, and finishes only when a manufactured board has been bench-tested and its performance documented. I expect you to manage or directly handle the PCB fabrication, populate the boards, and run exhaustive prototype testing so we can verify efficiency, thermal behaviour, and load regulation. Because schedule is tight I am looking for someone with broad bandwidth who can iterate quickly, answer questions in real-time, and suggest component or layout tweaks on the fly. Access to the usual power-design toolchain (LTspice, Altium, KiCad, thermal analysis, lab equipment such as electronic loads, oscilloscopes, and efficiency fixtures) will be essential. Deliverables • Complete schematics, simulations, and design calculations • Production-ready PCB Gerbers and assembly docs • At least two fully assembled prototype boards • Test report detailing efficiency curves, thermal plots, and any recommendations for cost or size optimisation If this end-to-end challenge fits your expertise in high-efficiency, compact, low-cost DC-DC converters, I’m ready to get started right away.
