My first novel is a time-travel fantasy rooted in the early Romanisation of Britain, with much of the action unfolding in ancient Wales. What I need first is a clear, concise structural overview that zeroes in on character development and their arcs. Show me where motivations wobble, growth stalls, or pay-offs feel thin; flag any scenes that undermine emotional logic or could sharpen a reveal—even brief pacing notes are welcome if they help the characters shine. Once the bones feel sound, move straight into copy editing. The priority here is grammatical accuracy and clean punctuation while preserving my tone. Tighten sentences, smooth dialogue tags, and clear out any obvious redundancies, but please don’t sand away the narrative voice. Because the setting brushes up against real history, I’d value light feedback on accuracy—simple flags for anachronisms or shaky context are enough. No deep dive required. Additionally, please evaluate whether my use of present tense and shifts between omniscient narration and stream of consciousness are cohesive and serve the story effectively.
