The drink machine’s firmware currently calls several AWS services for authentication, state sync, and recipe retrieval. I need all of that stripped out so the unit boots, dispenses, and shuts down without ever touching the cloud. Scope • Remove every AWS SDK reference, credential, and endpoint from the codebase. • Replace cloud calls with an on-device store (simple JSON/SQLite is fine) that holds the recipes and any configuration data. • Retain the core purpose: the machine must still make drinks—specifically cocktails—exactly as it does now. • Ensure the standalone build launches automatically on power-up and recovers gracefully after a reboot or network loss. • Document the new local setup so I can flash future machines without needing an AWS account. Deliverables 1. Updated source code that compiles and runs offline. 2. A brief README covering build steps, dependencies, and how to add new cocktail recipes. 3. A test video or log proving the machine pours at least one cocktail with no Internet connection. I will provide current source, hardware specs, and sample cocktail data once we start.
