Demo Trading Platform Bridge

I want a web-based demo trading terminal that feels as slick as Zerodha’s Kite but works only as a simulator. The screen should show live market quotes and depth, let me place, modify, and cancel orders exactly the way I would on a real broker, and keep a running order history so users can review every fill and status change. Also the P&L should be real and live as per the stock/FNO bought or sold The twist is that every order created inside this sandbox must also be pushed out—preferably in real time—through an API or webhook so another micro-service can forward it to an actual brokerage account (starting with Zerodha’s Kite Connect. Trades will cover stocks, F&O, commodities, and forex, so the payload needs to carry all the usual order parameters these segments require. User authentication is still open for discussion; if it adds too much overhead we can stub it now and plug in OAuth or a simple login module in the beginning. Deliverables • Front-end UI that mirrors Kite’s core screens (market watch, order window, positions, order history) with real-time data streaming. • Back-end engine that records each simulated order and exposes it via REST/WebSocket for the execution service. • Clear API documentation plus a working sample script that posts the received orders to Zerodha’s test endpoint. • Basic test cases demonstrating place/modify/cancel flows and confirming that identical calls are emitted to the external API. A clean, modular codebase (React/Angular/Vue on the front end and Node/Python/Go on the back end—your choice) and concise setup instructions will let me extend the project or swap data feeds later without a rewrite.
