I have two detailed SolidWorks maxilla models—each containing a dental implant in the canine region (one 4.1 mm, one 3.3 mm). Before I can trust any results, the files need to be made fully FEA-ready: clean up the complex anatomical surfaces, repair the current mesh issues, and confirm every small detail is watertight so ANSYS does not complain. Once the geometry is sound, move the workflow into ANSYS. The meshing step must balance both refinement around the implant–bone interface and overall element quality; that dual focus is essential for the occlusal loading I will apply. After meshing, set up a static structural analysis that includes: • A 35 N·cm screw-torque preload on the designated model • Physiologic occlusal forces on both implants • Appropriate contacts and boundary conditions representing cortical and cancellous bone Deliverables I expect: 1. Corrected SolidWorks assemblies (native and STEP) with a short changelog of the fixes you made 2. ANSYS project file with final mesh, boundary conditions, and solver settings 3. A concise report (figures plus brief commentary) showing displacement, von Mises stress, and implant–bone interface stresses for each model Experience with dental or orthopedic biomechanics is a hard requirement; general mechanical FEA alone won’t be sufficient. If you have handled bone–implant simulations before, this should be straightforward and fast.
