I want to take a standalone metal carport from a rough idea all the way to a fully commissioned structure on my site in Bangalore. I’m looking for someone who can handle each stage seamlessly—concept drawings, structural calculations, BOM, fabrication, installation and final hand-over—so I only have to deal with one point of contact. Key requirements • Structure: free-standing, steel or aluminium members with a clean contemporary profile that complements a modern home. • Roof & cladding: durable sheet or panel solution that can accept integrated PV modules without additional reinforcement. • Power: integrate roof-mounted solar panels, wiring, inverter and a small battery pack so the system can run motion-sensor LED lighting and feed excess power to my home DB. • Compliance: designs must satisfy Bengaluru BBMP/BBDA norms and relevant IS codes; stamped structural drawings will be required for permitting. • Finish: powder-coated members, concealed fasteners, neat cable routing and a tidy gutter/downpipe arrangement. • Commissioning: on-site functional test of lighting circuit, PV output and battery charge-discharge cycle, plus a brief hand-over document including warranty cards and maintenance tips. Ideal partner You have prior experience with steel carports or light-gauge structures, can work comfortably with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and Staad Pro (or similar), and already know local fabricators and solar vendors. If you’re outside Bangalore, that’s fine as long as you can still manage local site visits during fabrication and installation. Please include in your proposal: 1. A simple sketch or portfolio photo of a comparable standalone build you’ve completed. 2. Your estimated timeline broken into design, fabrication, erection and commissioning phases. 3. Any clarifying questions you need answered before you can quote accurately. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on scope and schedule, and I’m happy to release milestone payments tied to design approval, fabrication sign-off and final commissioning.
