I need a complete structural design for a mild-steel shade that will shelter a storage area of well over 3300 sq ft. The look has to stay in line with a traditional aesthetic—clean pitched roof, exposed yet simple members, nothing overly industrial or ultramodern. I will provide the site layout and the footprint; I’m counting on you to size the members, detail the connections, and prepare drawings ready for fabrication and erection. Please include basic wind- and live-load calculations to meet standard code requirements in my region (I’ll share the local code reference once we start). Deliverables I expect: • CAD/PDF general arrangement, plan, elevation, and section drawings • Member schedule with sizes, grades, and connection details • Brief calculation sheet outlining load assumptions, reactions, and safety factors • Material take-off list for procurement If you usually work in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or a similar platform, let me know; native files are welcome along with PDFs. A straightforward, buildable design that balances cost and durability is the end goal.
