My central lab processes blood samples that arrive daily from several partner laboratories, each working under its own negotiated price list. To replace our current mix of manual spreadsheets, I want a dedicated ERP-based billing module that will sit alongside our existing Lab Management System (LIMS) and pull sample data straight from it. Core needs • Multiple partner profiles, each with its own test-wise rate card that can be updated any time yet still keep historical pricing for audits. • Automatic bill creation the moment a batch is marked “results released” in the LIMS, with taxes and discounts applied per partner rules. • Real-time payment-status tracking (unpaid, part-paid, cleared) and ageing analysis dashboards. • One-click monthly statements and summary analytics (tests done, revenue, outstanding amounts) exportable to PDF and Excel. • Secure user roles so only finance staff can post adjustments while the operations team can view but not edit invoices. • API-level integration with our LIMS for sample IDs, test codes and completion timestamps—no double entry. Acceptance criteria 1. End-to-end demo on my data set showing an invoice generated automatically from LIMS data. 2. Correct application of at least two different partner rate cards on the same day. 3. Payment update reflected instantly in ageing report. 4. Deployment guide plus admin/user manuals delivered. Tech stack is flexible; if you already work with open-source ERP suites (ERPNext, Odoo, etc.) let me know, or propose a lightweight custom build that meets the above checkpoints.
