Cricket Dugout is already live on Discord and delivering real-time match updates to our community. I now want to move beyond basic scores and enrich the experience with new interactive elements while keeping the codebase lean, reliable, and easy to extend. Immediate roadmap • Custom slash or text commands that feel intuitive and respect Discord rate limits • Fresh gameplay mechanics plus an in-bot economy (points, virtual items, rewards) that ties into user activity • Automated tournament creation, scheduling, and progression so players can run leagues without manual setup Current state No critical bugs are present, but response times and event handling could be tighter. The priority is refactoring where needed, eliminating small inefficiencies, and laying groundwork for the new modules above. Ongoing expectations I prefer a long-term partnership: routine dependency updates, performance tuning, proactive monitoring, and quick turnaround on any future bugs. A month-to-month arrangement is fine as long as the roadmap keeps moving forward. Acceptance criteria 1. New features integrate seamlessly with existing commands and respect current data structures. 2. Code is documented, version-controlled, and lint-clean. 3. All additions are tested on a staging server before hitting production. 4. Performance metrics (memory usage, latency) stay equal to or better than today’s baseline.
