Descripción de la oferta

I am a registered ophthalmic assistant working in a remote eye-care center in rural Nepal. Each month I organize free outreach camps, screen hundreds of villagers for cataracts, glaucoma, trauma and other sight-threatening conditions, and then refer or treat them through our partner hospital. What now limits the impact of these camps is a chronic shortage of proper tools. I need help sourcing brand-new medical equipment and supplies so that examinations and minor procedures can be carried out on site rather than sending patients on long, costly journeys. Most urgent items • Surgical instruments suited to small-incision cataract work and basic oculoplastic repairs • Portable eye-examination devices such as handheld slit lamps, autorefractors and tonometers • Sterile medication and therapeutic eye-drops for post-operative care and infection control If you can procure, ship or facilitate purchase of new equipment that meets standard ophthalmic specifications, I will coordinate all local logistics, customs clearance and distribution to our mobile units. A detailed inventory with model numbers, expiry dates (for pharmaceuticals) and manufacturer warranties will be required before dispatch. On successful delivery I will provide photos, signed receipts from the hospital store and a post-camp impact report summarising the number of patients examined, treated and sight restored. Your support will directly restore vision for some of Nepal’s most underserved communities, so let’s make every instrument count.
