My indie thriller is picture-locked and ready for its final polish. Every frame takes place after sundown, so the color grade has to sell deep shadows without losing crucial detail. I’m aiming for a dramatic look that leans unapologetically into a dark, mysterious mood—think rich blacks, controlled highlights, and subtle cool tones that still let skin tones breathe. Footage was shot in ProRes 422 HQ and is currently organized in DaVinci Resolve 18, but I’m flexible if you prefer Baselight or another high-end tool; the important part is that you can craft a consistent, cinematic grade across roughly 18 minutes of mostly handheld nighttime material. Noise management and selective sharpening will be necessary in a few shots, so skill with neat denoise workflows is a plus. To wrap the grade I’ll need: • A 4K UHD master export (Rec 709) • A reference LUT that matches the final look • Resolve project file with all nodes intact for future tweaks I’ll deliver the media via an Aspera link; you can return graded files the same way or through Frame.io.
