I am preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime Walk On Country and Smoking Ceremony at Cummeragunja Mission Reserve near Barmah, NSW, and I want to capture it properly from the sky as well as on the ground. The ceremony will run for roughly 1–2 hours in the morning, and I’m hoping for a balanced mix of sweeping landscape shots that show the Country and closer, more intimate angles that honour the people, the smoke and the moment itself. Your brief is simple: arrive on site with a capable drone setup, fly safely under CASA rules, and record high-quality video (4K preferred) plus any stills you feel add value. Natural sound is important, so please factor that in if you can capture ambient audio. After the ceremony, I’d like the raw footage supplied promptly on a drive or via cloud, as well as a short, colour-graded highlight clip suitable for sharing with family and community. If you have experience filming cultural or ceremonial events, especially those held on traditional lands, that sensitivity will be greatly appreciated. Let me know what equipment you use, how many batteries you’ll bring for continuous coverage, and your turnaround time for both raw files and the edited highlight. I look forward to working with someone who can help me preserve this historic morning for generations to come.
