'd like to improve the Quick Number Click feature. At the moment, if a student leaves the course or changes to another class/day, I have to manually renumber everyone, which is time-consuming. I'd like the numbering to become dynamic, so I can easily reorganize students without editing each number manually. Requirements Move Student Allow me to move a student from one position to another. Example: Move student from position 12 to position 5. Students currently in positions 5–11 should automatically shift down one position. The numbering should always remain sequential. Insert Student When adding a new student, allow me to choose the desired position. Example: Insert a new student at position 8. Current students from position 8 onward should automatically move down one position. Remove Student When removing a student, all students below should automatically move up so there are no gaps in the numbering. Optional (Preferred) Add Move Up (↑) and Move Down (↓) buttons for each student. Even better, support drag and drop to reorder students visually. Goal I never want to renumber students manually again. The system should always maintain the correct sequence automatically whenever students are added, removed, or moved. Please implement this in a way that is scalable and works for all classes.
