The project is a full-stack build of a modern e-commerce platform that does more than just sell products. In addition to the usual catalogue, cart and checkout flow, I also want shoppers to have their own user profiles and the ability to exchange messages inside the site. Think of it as a shop that feels a bit like a community. Core scope • Responsive storefront, product search/filter, secure checkout • User authentication tied to rich profile pages (avatar, bio, order history) • Private, real-time messaging so customers can talk to each other or to support without leaving the site • Clean admin dashboard for product, order and user management • Solid security and performance best practices baked in from the start Deliverables 1. Source code (front end, back end, database schema) in a Git repository 2. Deployment scripts or instructions for a standard cloud host 3. Basic test suite covering the critical flows (add to cart, purchase, message send/receive) 4. Brief hand-off documentation so future maintenance is straightforward Acceptance criteria • All features above work smoothly on desktop and mobile • Page load times under 3 s on a typical broadband connection • Code passes the provided test suite and lints cleanly If you prefer a particular tech stack, let me know—flexibility is fine as long as the final product is stable, secure and easy to extend.
