I’m looking to bring an experienced Niagara-based programmer onto our team to take on a steady stream of commercial HVAC BMS work I manage from Australia. The bulk of what you’ll touch will be EasyIO controllers, so you should already feel at home with the EasyIO CPT Tool, Sedona logic, and the quirks of BACnet and Modbus integration that typically come with them. Day-to-day tasks range from writing and refining Sedona control logic, mapping points over BACnet or Modbus, through to building clear, responsive graphics that help on-site technicians understand what the plant is doing. A solid grasp of common HVAC control sequences—temperature, humidity, ventilation, and the usual mixed-air routines—is essential so you can translate a consultant’s spec into reliable code without hand-holding. All work is carried out remotely. I’ll supply drawings, I/O schedules, and remote VPN access to the sites; you return commissioned programs and graphics that are ready for live deployment. We usually work in small milestones (one air-handling unit, one chiller plant, etc.) so you’ll always have a tight, well-defined scope and a clear point of completion for each task. Acceptance criteria for each milestone • Sedona logic loads to the target EasyIO controller with no compile errors. • All points trend correctly and expose over BACnet as per the I/O schedule. • Graphics align with our existing style (I’ll provide samples) and update in real time. • Final hand-over includes a brief commissioning report and backup of the controller database.
