Descripción de la oferta
I need an experienced chemical engineer to design a chemically engineered anti-icing solution that can be safely applied to aircraft surfaces and meet strict environmental standards. The end product should rely on chemistry—not embedded heating—to prevent ice accretion during ground operations and in flight while remaining biodegradable and non-corrosive to aluminium, composites, seals, and paints. What I expect: • A lab-scale formulation (liquid spray or coating—whichever your testing confirms works best) with documented ingredients, concentrations, and preparation steps. • Performance data showing ice-prevention or delayed refreeze at aviation-relevant temperatures and humidity. • A brief environmental impact assessment outlining toxicity, biodegradability, and disposal considerations. • Guidance on scale-up and application methods compatible with routine aircraft maintenance procedures. You may draw on tools such as DSC, rheometry, contact-angle goniometry, and accelerated weathering chambers to validate results; include all raw data and analysis. Once the prototype meets the outlined criteria, we can discuss small-batch production and further optimization.
