Job Title: Electrical Quantity Take-Off & BOQ Verification Specialist (MEP) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor / MEP Take-Off Specialist to review and verify electrical quantities for an ongoing project. Scope of Work: 1. DBR Review – Study the Design Basis Report (DBR) and cross-check it against the electrical drawings to confirm whether all DBR requirements have been correctly incorporated into the design. 2. BOQ Gap Check – Review the consultant-provided Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and identify any missing line items by comparing it against the drawings. 3. Quantity Verification – Check the quantities listed in the BOQ against the drawings to confirm accuracy for each item. 4. Independent Take-Off – Prepare your own detailed electrical quantity take-off from the drawings (independent of the consultant's BOQ). 5. Variance Report – Compare your take-off quantities against the consultant-provided BOQ and clearly present the differences (item-wise variance, in a table/spreadsheet format). Requirements: 1. Strong knowledge of electrical works and materials (cables, conduits, panels, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, containment, etc.) 2. Proficiency in AutoCAD (for measuring/verifying drawing quantities) 3. Solid experience in MEP (Electrical) Quantity Surveying 4. Prior experience preparing BOQs for electrical projects 5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently 6. Good working knowledge of Excel for take-off sheets and variance reporting Deliverables: 1. Marked-up drawings/notes showing DBR vs. drawing incorporation status 2. List of missing BOQ items (if any) 3. Independent quantity take-off sheet (Excel) 4. Variance report comparing your take-off vs. consultant BOQ
