I need a solid Enfocus Switch workflow that automatically picks up incoming PDF files, interprets their metadata or naming pattern, and routes each file to the correct network location (or FTP/SFTP) while creating the usual audit trail inside Switch. My goal is pure file routing and management—no preflighting or reporting this time—so the flow has to be lean, reliable, and easy for me to maintain later on. Language is flexible; whether you script the flow in JavaScript, AppleScript, or VBScript is up to you as long as everything runs natively inside Switch without extra middleware. What matters is a clean, well-commented setup that I can import directly into my production Switch environment, tweak if needed, and drop straight into service. Deliverables • A fully packaged .sflow (or equivalent) ready for import • Any external scripts used, with clear in-line comments • A brief PDF or Markdown note explaining key flow steps and where I can adjust routing rules, folder paths, and variables Acceptance criteria • All test PDFs land in the correct target folders based on rules we agree on • Errors or unsupported files are quarantined to a dedicated problem folder with a Switch log entry • The flow runs unattended for at least 24 hours in test without stalls or crashes If you know your way around Enfocus Switch and have built similar PDF routing flows, you’ll find this straightforward.
