I am looking for a skilled scriptwriter and researcher for short-form wildlife and animal videos. I will provide the topic, and your job will be to research it thoroughly and create an engaging 1–2 minute script designed for high audience retention. These videos will focus on animals, wildlife, predators, unusual species, animal behavior, survival, abilities, comparisons, and interesting facts. The writing style should feel like a fast-paced wildlife documentary made for YouTube, not a traditional documentary or educational article. What I Need Scripts must be longer than 1 minute and shorter than 2 minutes when narrated. Every script needs a strong hook in the opening seconds that immediately creates curiosity. The script should continuously introduce interesting information, surprises, comparisons, or new questions to maintain retention. Language should be simple, natural, conversational English suitable for voiceover. Avoid unnecessary scientific terminology, complicated explanations, filler, repetition, and slow introductions. Facts must be properly researched and fact-checked before being included. The script should have a clear flow rather than feeling like a random collection of facts. Whenever possible, explain facts through visual comparisons, numbers, unusual abilities, behavior, or real-world examples. The writer should think about available footage while writing the script. Do not build major sections around events or claims for which usable visual footage cannot reasonably be found. You will also be responsible for finding and providing footage/source links corresponding to the script, so the editor knows what visuals can be used for each section. Topics will be provided by me. Your responsibility is research + scriptwriting + footage research. The ideal writer understands wildlife, animals, YouTube storytelling, hooks, retention, and visual-first scriptwriting.
