Our in-house safety management platform—built with ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS—needs a focused update across three core modules: Hazard, Incident, and Risk Management. I have several clear goals for this round of work: streamline navigation, cut page load times, and refresh the UI so day-to-day users can move through tasks without friction. Beyond the usability lift, I also want to expand functionality: • Reporting tools that turn stored data into exportable, filterable dashboards. • A real-time notification system that pushes email and in-app alerts as events occur. • Granular user-role management so access rights map neatly to each site, region, and job title. Under the hood, you’ll likely touch existing CRUD operations, stored procedures, and validation logic. Performance tuning at both the SQL layer (indexes, rewritten procs) and the MVC/controller layer (caching, lazy loading) is expected, and everything ships through our Azure DevOps pipeline with branch-based reviews and automated tests. Acceptance criteria • Page-to-first-render under 2 seconds on a 20 Mbps connection. • Navigational revamp deployed across all three modules with no broken links or 404s. • New reports, notifications, and role screens fully covered by unit and integration tests. • Pull requests pass existing code-quality gates and peer review before merge. The repository, DevOps board, and staging environment are ready; once we agree on milestones, you can start committing code immediately.
