I need an experienced controls design engineer to support EPMS and BMS design, documentation, and technical reviews for hyperscale data center projects. Full project description We are seeking a Senior Controls Design Engineer with strong experience in EPMS, BMS/BAS, HVAC controls, electrical power monitoring, and mission-critical facilities. The engineer will support the design, review, coordination, and standardization of controls systems for large-scale data center projects. Key responsibilities include: Review EPMS and BMS designs at the 30%, 60%, 90%, IFP, and IFC stages. Develop and review sequences of operation for electrical and mechanical systems. Review controls schematics, wiring diagrams, network diagrams, and equipment submittals. Support chiller plant controls and sequencing strategies. Develop Division 25 specifications, Basis of Design documents, and controls standards. Identify design issues, prepare review comments, and track their resolution. Coordinate with engineering consultants, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and project stakeholders. Improve system reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, and operational consistency. Required experience: At least 8 years of controls engineering, BMS/BAS, EPMS, or mission-critical infrastructure experience. Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical distribution, and power monitoring. Experience with complex sequences of operation and controls integration. Ability to interpret blueprints, control diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications. Experience with data centers or other mission-critical facilities is strongly preferred. Familiarity with US engineering standards and construction documentation.
