I need a lightweight .NET service that communicates with Epicor’s REST API and keeps our database and the ERP in lock-step. The core requirement is real-time data synchronization—changes made in either system should be reflected in the other within seconds, without manual intervention or batch jobs. Beyond simply moving records back and forth, the service must apply custom business logic before any write is committed. That logic includes: • Processing transactions – e.g., auto-generating related records, updating status fields, and posting to the correct Epicor endpoints. • Data validation – rejecting or flagging incomplete or incorrectly formatted payloads so we never pollute Epicor with bad data. • Workflow automation – triggering follow-up actions (email alerts, task creation, downstream API calls) according to predefined rules tied to transaction type and user role. I will provide the field mappings, API keys, and sample payloads. What I need back is: 1. A well-structured .NET Core project (C#) with clean, commented code. 2. Configuration files or environment variable support for connection strings, endpoints, and credentials. 3. A brief deployment guide and a short video or screenshots showing the integration working in real time. Please build with extensibility in mind so new endpoints or validation rules can be added easily later.
