I need a UK‑based freelancer to conduct in‑person customer and store interviews to validate market demand for fresh tropical vegetables in the ethnic food retail sector. The goal is to understand buying behaviours, supply challenges, and interest in locally grown tropical produce. Key Responsibilities: Visit and speak directly with African, Caribbean, and Asian food stores that sell vegetables Conduct interviews with store managers and shoppers using a provided interview script Document customer preferences, buying patterns, and market trends Collect 3–5 Letters of Intent (LOIs) from interested stores using a provided LOI template Take pictures of the shop as part of the task Provide a short market validation report summarising findings Requirements: Must be based in the UK Comfortable approaching and speaking to store managers Experience in customer interviews or business development Strong communication and analytical skills Background in market research or food retail (preferred) Target demographic: Ethnic food retail shoppers Store managers of African, Caribbean, and Asian food stores Diaspora food wholesalers Outcome: Clear market validation, interview summaries, LOIs confirming interest, and shop pictures.
