I run an import–export operation that moves goods in both directions between the European Union and the wider MENA region. To keep our consignments flowing without delays, I need a licensed customs professional who can take ownership of every formal step on both sides of the border. The core of the job is to prepare and file all customs documentation, classify products under the correct HS codes, calculate duties & taxes in advance, and resolve any queries raised by EU or MENA authorities until final release. VAT, excise and any country-specific requirements must be handled proactively so shipments do not sit idle in port or at the airport. Deliverables • Complete import and export declarations for each shipment • Accurate HS code classification and duty/tax calculation sheets • Proof of clearance and official releases from the relevant EU and MENA customs offices • A brief post-clearance report highlighting any issues and how they were resolved I will choose a broker who can point to solid past work on comparable EU–MENA corridors and demonstrate a clear understanding of current Union Customs Code procedures as well as GCC, Maghreb or Levant regulations where applicable.
