My current website is built in static HTML and I want it running on WordPress while still looking pixel-for-pixel identical to what visitors see today. Every layout element, colour, font, and interaction must be cloned so that no one can tell the CMS under the hood has changed. Content migration will be a mix: I’m happy to use an automated tool or import script for the bulk of pages and posts, but certain key pages will need manual polishing once they land in WordPress to preserve formatting and internal links. I will supply the original HTML files and any assets you need. Alongside the build, please set up and configure a solid SEO optimisation plugin (e.g. Yoast or Rank Math) so that meta tags, XML sitemaps, and basic schema mark-up are ready to go from day one. Deliverables • Fully functioning WordPress site hosted on my server, matching the current design exactly • All existing content migrated, inspected, and corrected where automation falls short • SEO plugin installed and initial settings completed • Brief hand-over notes or short screencast covering how to add/edit content in the new setup Acceptance criteria – Front-end visuals match original HTML on desktop and mobile without layout shifts – All internal links, images, and downloads work correctly – Page titles, meta descriptions, and canonical URLs remain intact or are easily editable through the SEO plugin – WordPress admin is clean, with only necessary themes/plugins active Please keep the build lightweight, avoid bloated page builders unless absolutely required, and feel free to suggest best-practice improvements that don’t alter the public-facing design.
