I want a clean, reusable Excel template that lets me generate professional-looking financial reports with minimal effort. The core of the file should centre on an automated Income Statement: I enter raw figures in clearly marked input areas and the sheet updates totals, subtotals, percentage changes and simple charts immediately. Good cell protection, logical colour coding, and concise instructions inside the workbook will be appreciated because different team members with varied skill levels will use it. While the immediate priority is the Income Statement, please structure the workbook so we could plug in a Balance Sheet or Cash-Flow tab later without having to rewrite formulas. Deliverables • A single unlocked .xlsx file containing the finished template • Built-in formulas (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, or PivotTable links—use what you feel is best) that auto-populate the Income Statement section • A short, on-sheet guide explaining where to paste source data and how the outputs refresh I will test by dropping in last quarter’s numbers; the totals, margins and charts should update with no errors.
