I need an Excel macro that creates an overall summary table of costs for each cost code. The data should be updated daily for specific time frames. Part 1 Add the macro to “destination” file that will bring over the data from the “source file” when it is run. When the macro runs, it would: Prompt the user to select the source file. Prompt the user to select the date/ date range of data to bring data over each time. If these are all "new dates" (so there is no data in the destination file for those dates yet), it will just bring this data over. If, however, there is some existing data for any of those dates already, it will warn the user that some of the data will be overwritten if they continue. Part 2 Prepare an output summary sheet, in a very similar format to the example summary in the example sheet provided called "Dashboard". This summary will be dynamic, so each time the macro is run, it will refresh this summary to match the updated data on the main source data sheet called "MASTER". Requirements: - Excel expertise, particularly in creating and managing macros - Ability to handle and summarize cost data efficiently - Experience with dynamic updating of tables based on changing data Ideal Skills: - Proficiency in Excel VBA - Strong attention to detail - Prior experience with cost data analysis and summary generation
