I have a backlog of raw financial records—cash vouchers, purchase bills, bank statements—that has to be keyed efficiently into both Excel and Tally Prime. The task is straightforward: enter the figures exactly as they appear, apply the right ledger heads, and double-check totals so everything reconciles at the end of each day. Here is what you’ll actually be doing: • Create or update a clean, well-structured Excel workbook that mirrors my chart of accounts. • Post the same data into Tally Prime, ensuring ledgers, cost centres and tax classifications match the source documents. • Run a quick trial-balance check so I can spot discrepancies immediately. Accuracy and consistency are more important than speed. If you have hands-on experience processing financial data in Excel and Tally Prime, tell me about it—that’s the main thing I’ll base my selection on. Once hired, I’ll share sample documents, naming conventions and a short checklist to keep our workflow smooth. Final deliverables: the reconciled Excel file, an updated Tally Prime company file, and a brief note of any anomalies you uncovered.
