I run a cosy neighbourhood café that specialises in light Asian-inspired dishes, and I need an extra pair of hands on the floor. Your focus will be classic front-of-house work—greeting guests with a smile, taking and entering orders accurately, delivering plates and drinks promptly, clearing tables, and keeping the service area tidy throughout each shift. Because the menu leans Asian, being able to pronounce and briefly describe items to curious customers will go a long way toward a smooth service, though no cooking is involved. Familiarity with a basic POS system, good spoken English, and an eye for detail are essential; latte art or barista skills would be a welcome bonus. Reliability matters more than anything: show up on time, maintain a friendly, calm attitude when it gets busy, and treat every guest like a regular.
