My SaaS-style Shopify app already has users in production, but the Laravel backend now needs the most immediate attention. I want to harden and extend the data-processing layer, then circle back to Vue.js UI tweaks, GraphQL endpoints, and general UX polish. Here’s the current stack you’ll step into: • Laravel + MySQL powering all core logic • Vue 3 with Vite for the embedded admin UI, styled with Shopify Polaris • Shopify GraphQL Admin API, webhooks, and several third-party REST/JSON APIs Priority tasks 1. Refactor and expand Laravel services that transform and store shop data (imports, scheduled jobs, queue workers). 2. Tighten unit / feature tests so the codebase stays scalable. 3. Expose new data sets through GraphQL to the Vue front end. Once the backend is solid, we’ll move on to: • Incremental Vue component updates for responsiveness • Minor UX clean-ups in Polaris • Bug hunts reported by merchants in production Acceptance criteria for each sprint will be: – All new Laravel logic covered by passing PHPUnit tests – No breaking changes in the embedded app when re-installed on a partner dev store – API calls (Shopify + third-party) logged and gracefully retried on failure If you have shipped real Shopify apps before, link me to live examples or repos so I can review your past work. A concise note about the role you played on each project is perfect—no need for a full proposal deck. We’ll collaborate via GitHub, Slack, and weekly video check-ins.
