4+ yrs exp UI/UX Designer (Figma) + HTML/CSS (Preferred) Our small firm is redesigning the website, we are a product development company that helps startups build and scale digital products - an IT firm. The website strategy, content and overall direction have already been defined. We also have AI-generated mockups that communicate the layout and design direction. We're NOT looking for someone to simply recreate these mockups. We're looking for someone who can: • Elevate the design • Improve layouts and UX • Create a consistent design system • Suggest better ideas where appropriate • Deliver pixel-perfect responsive HTML (preferred) ________________________________________ Scope • Create a reusable Design System in Figma • Design the complete website (approx. 15 pages) • Reuse components across pages instead of designing everything from scratch • Convert approved designs into responsive HTML/CSS (preferred) The HTML should be production-ready and serve as the reference implementation for future WordPress integration. ________________________________________ We already have - Website content - Website structure - AI-generated reference mockups - Existing website - Clear design direction So you're not starting from a blank canvas. ________________________________________ Skills Required • Figma • UI/UX Design • Responsive Web Design • HTML/CSS • Strong eye for typography, spacing and hierarchy • Experience designing SaaS, Startup or Agency websites ________________________________________ Bonus Experience with: • Design Systems • Component Libraries • WordPress • Gutenberg • Tailwind CSS ________________________________________ Please include • Portfolio • 2–3 websites you're most proud of • Whether you can also develop responsive HTML • Your estimated timeline • Examples of design systems you have created in the past To help us identify applicants who have read the project description, please start your proposal with the words "Design System". Please answer the following: 1. Suppose we've designed the Home page and later want to create ten more pages. How would you ensure consistency without redesigning everything?" 2. If I ask you to redesign one button six months later, how many screens would you need to update?
