My WordPress site is stable but overdue for a serious functionality refresh. I need a senior-level developer who can dive straight into the codebase, audit the existing plugin stack, and deliver three key upgrades: • SEO optimisation – configure or replace the current SEO plugin, clean up any legacy settings, and make sure the site passes an on-page audit once you’re done. • E-commerce integration – set up a robust store (WooCommerce is fine, but propose alternatives if you see a better fit), connect a secure payment gateway, and ensure product, cart, and checkout pages inherit my existing theme styling. • Social media sharing – implement lightweight, customisable share buttons that load fast and track basic engagement metrics without bloating page speed. Off-the-shelf plugins will cover most of this, but some custom coding is definitely required. I expect clean, documented PHP, JavaScript, and CSS that won’t be overwritten by future WordPress or theme updates. Acceptance criteria 1. Lighthouse performance score ≥90 on all upgraded pages. 2. No PHP errors or warnings in debug mode. 3. SEO plugin shows green status for every public-facing page. 4. Test transactions complete successfully in both sandbox and live modes. 5.
