KEY REQUIREMENTS 1. Qualified accountant 2. Extensive experience in building forecasts and reporting packs in Fathom Reporting (https://www.fathomhq.com) 3. Proficient in Xero, including Budget Manager I have several engagements coming up where I need a management accountant with proven, advanced expertise in both Xero and Fathom Reporting. The work will span the next couple of months and centres on three core activities: • Uploading budgets from Excel to Xero • Building full financial forecasts in Fathom directly from Excel data, making robust use of Goal Seek and Microforecasts • Refining those forecasts until the numbers are pinpoint accurate At this stage the raw figures are still in flux, so I’ll need your help first with organising the existing data and designing fresh budget templates in Excel. Once the structure is clean, we’ll move on to loading those budgets into Xero and constructing the matching forecasts in Fathom. Accuracy is non-negotiable; I’ll expect every link, assumption and formula to reconcile perfectly. Deliverables will be signed off when: 1. Budgets load to Xero without errors and agree back to the validated Excel files. 2. A Fathom forecast is produced that mirrors the Xero budget, complete with scenario analysis via Goal Seek and at least two Microforecasts. 3. Supporting Excel workbooks clearly show the assumption logic and can be reused for future updates. If you have a portfolio or sample Fathom files that demonstrate complex goal-seeking or granular microforecasts, sharing those will speed up the selection process.
