I’m looking for an Excel-based solution that lets me maintain a fully linked set of financial statements without touching a calculator. The workbook should open to a clean, user-friendly dashboard where I can enter raw transaction data (or paste it in) and instantly see an updated Balance Sheet as well as an Income Statement, Cash-Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity. Core deliverables • Balance Sheet • Income Statement • Cash-Flow Statement • Equity Statement Key features to build in • Automated calculations that flow through every schedule and roll forward ending balances automatically. • Clear, presentation-ready graphs and charts that refresh with each data update so trends are visible at a glance. • Solid data-validation rules to guard against entry errors, duplicate dates, or out-of-period postings. Acceptance criteria 1. All statements remain in balance after every test entry I provide. 2. Formulas are transparent—no hard-coded numbers—so I can audit and adjust assumptions later. 3. Charts update dynamically without any manual refresh. 4. The file runs smoothly in the current desktop versions of Excel for Windows and macOS.
