I need a custom software application that securely organises, stores and retrieves my company’s financial records. At the moment everything lives in spreadsheets and email threads; I want a single desktop-style solution that centralises transactions, invoices, expense receipts and basic reporting so I can close the books faster and with fewer errors. Core requirements • Structured database for all historical and new financial entries • Intuitive screens to add, edit and search records by date, category or client • Role-based access so my accountant sees everything while other staff see only what they need • Import capability for CSV or Excel files and export to PDF for auditors • Simple dashboards with totals, monthly trends and drill-down views • Encryption of stored data and secure login (2FA preferred) I’m flexible on language and framework—use what you’re most productive with, as long as the final build runs smoothly on Windows and can be containerised later if we decide to move to the cloud. Please include the source code, a short user guide and setup instructions.
