I’m looking for help streamlining my FreeCAD workflow. The core task is to create a brand-new macro that will automate specific actions inside my existing FreeCAD files—chiefly exporting the model and applying a few on-the-fly edits before the export runs. You’ll need solid experience writing FreeCAD Python macros, understanding the document object model, and working directly inside the GUI when quick tweaks are faster than code alone. Here’s what I need from you: • A fully commented Python macro (.FCMacro) that performs the requested edits, then exports the file to the designated format(s). • Clear instructions on how to install, run, and—if I later want to—adjust the macro myself. • A short screen-capture or step-by-step text guide showing the macro in action so I can confirm everything works exactly as intended.
