# Freelance QA Engineer (Manual Testing) ## About the Project We are building a web and mobile platform that includes user authentication, project management, wallet management, payments, notifications etc. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to thoroughly test the platform before public launch. --- ## Engagement Type * Freelance / Contract * Fixed Price * Remote * Project Duration: 1-2 Days --- ## Responsibilities You will be responsible for end-to-end manual testing of both the web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include: * Understand product requirements and user flows. * Create comprehensive test plans and test cases. * Perform functional testing. * Execute end-to-end testing. * Conduct regression testing after bug fixes. * Perform UI/UX testing. * Test responsive layouts across multiple screen sizes. * Verify business logic and validations. * Test payment-related workflows (excluding real payment transactions where applicable). * Validate wallet calculations and balance updates. * Verify contract and milestone workflows. * Test notifications and email triggers. * Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari). * Test Android and iOS applications. * Log detailed bugs with screenshots and screen recordings. * Retest resolved issues and verify fixes. * Provide a final QA sign-off before launch. --- --- ## Deliverables The selected QA Engineer must provide: * Test Plan * Detailed Test Cases * Bug Reports with severity levels * Screenshots and screen recordings * Regression Testing Report * Final QA Sign-off Report --- ## Required Skills * 2+ years of Manual QA experience. * Experience testing SaaS or web applications. * Strong understanding of software testing methodologies. * Experience writing clear and detailed bug reports. * Experience using Jira, ClickUp, GitHub Issues, or similar bug-tracking tools. * Excellent attention to detail. * Strong communication skills. --- ## Nice to Have * Experience testing complex web applications. * Experience testing payment workflows. * API testing using Postman. * Basic SQL knowledge. * Cross-browser and mobile testing experience. --- ## Success Criteria The project will be considered successful when: * All agreed test cases are executed. * All Critical and High severity bugs are resolved and verified. * Medium and Low severity issues are documented. * Core user journeys are fully validated. * The application is ready for beta/public launch. --- ## What We Need from You Please include the following with your proposal: * Relevant QA experience. * Previous projects you've tested. * Testing tools you use. * Sample bug report (if available). * Estimated timeline. * Fixed project cost. * Your availability to start. **To confirm that you have read the complete job description, please begin your proposal with the word "Quality".**
