I’m putting together a single WordPress build that must comfortably serve three roles at once: a fully-fledged e-commerce storefront, a clean portfolio section, and a regularly updated blog. The backbone will be WordPress, so every theme tweak, plugin choice, and line of custom code should respect WordPress best practices and remain update-safe. Core functionality needs to include: secure user authentication and role management, seamless payment processing (Stripe or PayPal are fine, yet I’m open to your suggestion), and an intuitive content management experience that even a non-technical editor can handle. On the front end I want modern, responsive layouts, quick load times, and clear navigation that lets visitors move effortlessly between shop, portfolio, and blog areas without feeling they’ve left the same site. Accessibility and on-page SEO fundamentals should be baked in rather than bolted on later. Deliverables • A WordPress installation configured for e-commerce, portfolio, and blog sections, running on the latest stable version • Custom or child theme reflecting a cohesive brand style across all three sections • User registration/login flow with password reset and basic security hardening • Payment gateway integration tested in sandbox and live modes • Written hand-off notes (or a quick video walk-through) showing how to add new products, portfolio pieces, and posts Acceptance criteria: each section loads error-free on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge; checkout completes end-to-end in live mode; and all content types are editable through WordPress admin without touching code.
