We are building Zyap OS, a cloud-based restaurant management platform covering POS, KDS, online ordering, kiosk, inventory, customer management, loyalty, and reporting. We are hiring an experienced Full-Stack Developer to build and integrate a production-ready Digital Menu Display module into our existing platform. This is not a standalone website. Responsibilities Build a responsive display-management dashboard Add screens using secure device pairing codes Manage multiple screens, stores, brands, and screen groups Create landscape and portrait menu layouts Develop a drag-and-drop menu-board builder Support products, categories, pricing, images, videos, and promotional banners Create reusable templates and real-time previews Schedule content by date, time, day, and daypart Support brand-wide and store-specific displays Show screen status, connectivity, and last synchronization Manage draft, published, duplicated, paused, and archived displays Backend Requirements Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs Database models and manually managed migrations Secure screen registration, authentication, and token management Menu, product, pricing, and availability synchronization Dynamic and location-specific pricing Scheduled publishing with time-zone support Media and asset management Screen heartbeat and device-health monitoring Version-controlled display configurations Activity logs, publishing history, and error handling Agency, brand, and store-level role permissions WebSockets or another reliable real-time update method Display Player Build a browser or device-based player supporting full-screen images, videos, menus, playlists, transitions, automatic updates, and offline playback using the last downloaded content. It must reconnect and synchronize automatically when internet access returns. Deliverables Complete frontend and backend implementation Display player Database models and migrations API documentation Automated tests Deployment and setup documentation Integration into our existing production codebase GitHub feature-branch and pull-request workflow Testing support, bug fixes, and knowledge transfer Applicants should share relevant digital-signage, POS, restaurant SaaS, or device-management projects, recommended player technology, offline-sync approach, estimated cost, timeline, and availability.
