Project Title: ​Next.js & AI Developer Needed: Fix RAG Logic, UI Bugs, Smart Cross-Selling & Optimize AI Assistant for Active Site (askraghadai.com) ​Project Description: ​We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Next.js & AI Developer to audit, fix, and upgrade the existing live platform askraghadai.com. ​The website is already fully deployed and live (built on Next.js) and connected to a Google Sheet as its active database. However, we need an expert to fix critical logic gaps, refine the AI's data-retrieval (RAG & Function Calling) to act like a smart advisor (similar to Gemini), clean up the UI by completely removing image placeholders, and implement smart cross-selling, bundle curation, and flawless Google Sheet synchronization and data binding. ​Budget, Timeline & Payment Terms: ​Budget: $10 – $30 (Fixed Price) ​Timeline: 2 Days ​Payment Terms: Payment will be released only after all the specified bugs and tasks are fully resolved and tested. No requests for additional funds or milestone increases related to these fixes will be accepted; the agreed fixed price covers the entire scope of work. ​Scope of Work & Google Sheet / Code Fixes: ​Strict Text-Only UI & Code/Sheet Cleanup (Remove All Images): ​The UI currently renders image boxes that incorrectly fall back to displaying our site logo when an image is missing. Images and image containers must be completely removed. The layout must switch to a 100% text-only structured card format containing only: Item Name, Short Description, and the Affiliate CTA Button. ​Developer Action for Google Sheet: The unused Image_URL column must be dropped/ignored in the Google Sheet, and any parsing functions or fallback logo logic in the Next.js code querying images must be completely stripped out. ​Fix RAG Data Retrieval & Precise Category Filtering: ​Currently, the AI returns generic store homepages or broad categories instead of matching user intents (like "Trip to Phuket" or a specific dress) to precise offers, hotels, or items. ​Developer Action: Ensure the API connection properly filters and reads rows based on the 6 main categories, subcategories, and keyword tags in the Google Sheet. ​Smart Cross-Selling, Bundles & Exact Link Binding (Gemini-Like Experience): ​The AI agent must act as a smart, persuasive advisor capable of generating complete weekly packages (e.g., combining flights, hotels, and activities) or fashion sets/cross-selling (e.g., suggesting matching accessories or complementary items from the sheet). ​Crucial Rule: Whenever the AI suggests a product, hotel, or item, it must output the exact name paired precisely with its corresponding direct affiliate link retrieved from the Google Sheet—no random or generic homepage links are allowed. ​API Caching & Performance: ​Implement an in-memory or Redis caching layer for the Google Sheets data to prevent hitting Google API rate limits during high traffic and ensure fast, seamless AI responses. ​Strict Data Binding (No Hallucinations): ​The AI must only return items, links, and details retrieved directly from the Google Sheet via Function Calling. Generating external links or products not present in the database is strictly prohibited. ​Required Skills: ​Strong expertise in Next.js and full-stack web development. ​Proven experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic), RAG pipelines, and Function Calling. ​Deep experience working with Google Sheets API integration and data parsing in production environments. ​High attention to UI/UX clean text-based layouts. ​How to Apply: ​When submitting your proposal, please confirm your agreement with the fixed budget ($10-$30), the 2-day timeline, and the payment terms (payment upon successful completion), and briefly state how you plan to tackle these fixes, including Google Sheet synchronization, smart cross-selling, bundle generation, and precise link binding.
