Descripción de la oferta

I have already defined the core user experience for Gap Gauge—a club-mounted, Bluetooth-enabled sensor that pairs with a companion mobile app to help golfers dial in wedge shots under 100 yards. The software roadmap is clear, but the next big milestone is turning the hardware concept into a reliable, production-ready prototype. Here is where I need the most support: • Sensor hardware development – schematic, proof-of-concept build. The unit must sit unobtrusively on the shaft or golf glove, survive repeated swings, and stream swing-path data in real time over Bluetooth Low Energy. The embedded side will revolve around a high-accuracy IMU; I do not yet have a preferred model, so I’m looking for guidance on the best sensor. On the software side the mobile app will be released on both iOS and Android. You won’t build the full app now, but every hardware decision must integrate cleanly with iOS and Android. Acceptance criteria for this phase: 1. Schematics with component availability verified. 2. Firmware that captures swing-motion data, compresses it, and transmits it over BLE. 3. Working prototype (hand-assembled is fine) validated on the range without data loss. 4. A brief integration document covering custom services/characteristics so the mobile team can begin work If you have shipped similar sports, wearables or motion-tracking products, I’d love to tap into that experience and get Gap Gauge into golfers’ hands sooner. I would also be looking for a tech co-founder/partner with this. PDF attached. Thanks, Paul Hoenecke
